Junior Interior Designer

We're looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join our team in Iloilo City!

The Junior Interior Designer will join the LiDU Design Team and collaborate closely with the Senior Interior Designer or Project Lead Designer to provide LiDU clients with high-quality and innovative interior design solutions. They are in charge of the firm's interior design projects' planning, execution, implementation, and monitoring, as well as meeting quality control standards and communicating with architects, clients, contractors, suppliers, and other project partners. They will work as part of the LiDU Team to bring innovative ideas to life and make the client's dreams a reality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualize together with the Principal Interior Designer and the LiDU Design Team at the start of each project;
  • Research and prepare the mood boards, material boards, and visual presentations for on-going projects;
  • Prepare and assemble drawing sets from schematics design to construction administration as discussed with the Design Team;
  • Take charge of AutoCAD production of design documents as discussed with the Design Team;
  • Create the 3D visualization of the designs;
  • Help the Senior Interior Designer or Project Lead Designer in coordinating responsibly with suppliers, clients, contractors, and other project partners;
  • Source materials, furniture, and furnishings for the projects;
  • Review construction documents and shop drawings by fellow team members and suppliers;
  • Supervise the project sites for progress, quality, and proper implementation;
  • Represent LiDU in client meetings, site visits, and professional gatherings;
  • Exercise judgement where supervision may be minimal;
  • Complete work upon agreed deadlines;
  • Contribute to the office activities, initiatives, and learning programs;
  • Work under the direct command of the Principal Interior Designer and assist the latter in all aspects of their work, and perform responsibilities designated to them by the Senior Interior Designer or Project Lead Designer with utmost responsibility and accountability embodying the values of LiDU.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven work experience as an Interior Designer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of interior design and industry standards
  • Experience using interior design and CAD software
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Knowledge of interior design and construction regulations
  • Excellent analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills
  • Sharp time management skills
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential information
  • BSc degree in Interior Design
  • Professional qualification as a Licensed Interior Designer is considered a plus
